TWJ Major Clinical Fellowships comprise a high level of clinical activity with hands-on surgical experience supervised by a mentor, combined with the opportunity to be involved in an otology research programme.  Applicants must be ENT Specialty Registrars on numbered otolaryngology training programmes in the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland: they must have passed the Intercollegiate FRCS by the time the Fellowship commences but may be pre- or post-CCT.

TWJ Major Research Fellowships focus upon clinical and basic science research, with opportunities for clinical observation.  Applicants must be ENT Specialty Registrars on numbered otolaryngology training programmes in the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland: they need not have passed the Intercollegiate FRCS by the time the Fellowship commences, and may be pre- or post-CCT.

CWJ Short Fellowship Grants help young Consultant Otologists visit leading European otology clinics in Béziers, Nijmegen or Antwerp for a week of clinical observation and personal instruction, attached to an advanced Otology Course at the same institution.  Applications will also be considered from final-year ENT Specialty Registrars in the UK and Republic of Ireland who have passed the Intercollegiate FRCS and have a special interest in Otology.

All Fellows must submit a report (no more than two sides of A4) within three months of their return, with permission to post it on the TWJ website.
